CRAMERTON - On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Sarah Jane Wilkinson Reece departed this life for her heav-enly home surrounded by her family.

Memorial services to celebrate Sarah's life will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Cramerton Independent Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the funeral at the church lodge and other times at 306 Lakewood Road.

Sarah was born March 20, 1931, to the late Avery and Lois Wilkinson of North Belmont. She is a graduate of Bel-mont High School and attended Evans Business School. She began her working career at the Bank of Belmont. She married Ted Reece of Cramerton, NC in 1954. After raising her two children she returned to work as the secretary for Catawba Heights Elementary School where she retired. Sarah was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was an active member of Cramerton Independent Presbyterian Church. Over her lifetime she enjoyed playing the piano, golf and entertaining her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Ted, her four granddaughters were the love of her life. She created many memories for them that will be with them their entire lives.

Sarah is survived by her husband of 57 years Ted Reece, her daughter Mira Reece Harris of Belmont, her son Tim Reece and wife Kim of McLeansville, NC, four granddaughters Anna Reece Mitchum and husband Greg of Charlotte, Ashley Harris and fiance Zach Schuman of Charlotte, Abby Sarah Reece of Raleigh and Allison Sarah Jane Harris of Belmont. She is also survived by her sisters, Bradine Lingerfelt and husband Don of Mount Holly, Dorothy Holland of Charlotte, sister-in-law, Katie Grice of Gastonia and brother-in-law, James Reece of Clarksville, Tenn. and numerous nieces and nephews.
We, the Reece family, would like to extend our sincere appreciation for the loving care provided by Ozell Rowe, Glo-ria Hawkins, Sarah Jane Sanchez and Carol Delia during the last year.
