STANLEY - Robert O. Lineberger, child of God, died at home on March 26, 2012 at age 82.
Mr. Lineberger was a life-long member at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He loved music and played the organ, piano and sang.
Robert was a graduate of Belmont Abbey, Queens College and Purdue University with a degree in bio-chemistry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Lineberger; and a brother, Charles Jr.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Martha Lineberger; son Stephen and wife, Kim, son, James, daughter, Jan and husband, Bill; brother, Danny and wife, Annette, sister, Monta Gail; granddaughters, Heather, Amber and husband, Larry, Christine and husband, Marcus, Marie and husband, Thomas; great grandchildren, Zachary, Destiny, Tommy, Terica, T.J., and Trinity; nieces, Christine and Beverly; nephew, David and his wife, Lisa and their son, Andrew.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery with the Revs. Jack and Linda McHenry offici-ating.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church prior to the service.
