Mama was the most grateful person I have known. She surprised everyone she met with her generous "Thank You" and sweet smile. As she said, she wanted The Lord to take her to Heaven, and soon thereafter He did. Now she is Thanking Him.

We, her children are truly Blessed to have been her children. Mama was such a strong, caring, loving mother who constantly encouraged us. She always had a positive attitude regardless of the situation and looked for only the good in everyone. She was a true example of Love, Patience, and kindness. We are thankful she was with us for so many years, and We miss her.

Mrs. Ledbetter was a very well read lady. She was so nice to everyone. I will always remember our visit to Alpine Village and her interest in everything about her. Not only will her family miss her but so will I. Our prayers are with you. Sondra and Chuck

Mrs. Myrtle was a true inspiration to me and helped me so much when I began teaching Sunday School. She was much of the "sunshine" in the "Mothers Sunshine Class." My deepest sympathy to the four generations of which she was the matriarch. Our loss is Heaven's gain.....

Grandma showed me so much about being patient and humble while I was taking care of her. She never demanded attention; she was content to stay out of the spotlight. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. During her last days she would ask, "Am I really doing a good job?" I know that when she stood before Jesus, He said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."

Dear family, My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. I don't think I ever remember any one church teacher better than I remember Aunt Myrtle. I used to love when the WMU would meet in peoples houses and we would walk down there for the meeting. I know you will each miss her.

I am so sad to hear of "Miss" Myrtle's passing. She was a wonderful lady, and you were so fortunate to have her in your lives. May God give you comfort during this time and give you the hope of a happy and glorious reunion.

Grandma was as close to an angel on earth as one could experience. She lived what she learned in her bible and set a great example to guide us with unconditional love, being patient and kind to all.
