LAS VEGAS, Nevada. - Agnes Kelley Darnell, 84, previously of Belmont, passed away Nov. 1, 2012, at the Nathan Adelson Hospice NW, Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry L. and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Kelley and husband Hisure Darnell and son, Ronnie Alonza Darnell.
Agnes was a loving mother and a caring person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed volunteering her services at hospitals and nursing centers. Be-fore moving to Las Vegas, Nevada. Agnes attended Berea Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Karen Whitehead of Greenville, S.C.; sons, Henry Dale Darnell and Howard D. Darnell both of North Las Ve-gas; sisters, Sophie Burch of Belmont and Betty Potter of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at McLean Funeral Directors of Belmont.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bumgardner Chapel with the Rev. William Whitfield officiating.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Gardens following the service.
