GASTONIA - Sarah Faye Grigg Moore, 69, died Jan. 26, 2013, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House.
She was born in Gaston County, the daughter of the late Reid Grigg. She was a retired textile employee and a member of Spencer Mountain Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Cherry Grigg of Gastonia; a daughter, Kim Heflin and husband Troy of Gastonia; a son, Jeff Moore and wife Teresa of Gastonia; a sister, Frances Costner and husband Bill of Gastonia; a special niece, Lisa Hyde; three grandchildren, Joseph and Stacey Moore, Susan Jellum and husband Jon; a step-grandchild, Erin Detter; three great-grandchildren, Natalee and Nadia Jellum, Kenzlee Forney; and a step-great-grandchild, Isabella Detter.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Spencer Mountain Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Rumfelt officiating. Entombment will follow in Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the church from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, and other times at the home of Frances and Bill Costner, 1181 Churchill Drive, Gastonia.
