Sandy Haney Obituary
She was born in Gaston County, daughter of Sylvia Sue Ellen Faile Mitchem and the late James Luther Mitchem.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rickie Haney. She was a devoted mother and daughter and was the best friend to her two sisters.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son Justin Haney of Stanley; two sisters, Angel Mitchem Brooks and husband Johnny of Bessemer City and Amanda Woods of Stanley; two grandchildren, Brandon and Brittany Haney; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Kirby.
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Haney will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at the Woodlawn Chapel of Woodlawn Funeral
Home in Mount Holly with the Rev. Tim Small officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday night at the funeral home.

Sandy, we had a lot of laughs and good times. We hadn't talked in a while with life getting busy but I love you and I hope that you give everybody a hug for me and please tell my Mama I love her. We are gonna miss your beautiful laugh.
