Della Watts Obituary
She was born in Chilhowie, Va. on Sept. 2, 1930, to the late Richard and Lena Mae Heath.
She was retired from Gaston Memorial Hospital.
Della is survived by her son, Richard and Melissa Akers of Silva; daughter, Teresa and Mark Walls of Gastonia; sister, Brenda Williams; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be noon Thursday at Love Memorial Baptist Church, 311 E. Walnut St., Gastonia.
Pastors Mike Criswell and Tommy Griffin officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park
A Simple Service, Burial and Cremation, is serving the family 704-884-0150.

Della was a great lady. I worked with her for many years at GMH Emergency Room. She was a hard worker and not afraid to tell you what she thought about ANYTHING! She was a good woman.
