Ralph Reep Obituary
Those left to cherish his memories and carry on his legacy are his wife of 66 years, Nell Black Reep of the home; daughter and son-in-law: Andrea Dawn and Rusty Gilreath; son and daughter-in-law: Russell Wayne and Patti Reep all of Gastonia, North Carolina; granddaughter: Paige Reep Davis and her husband Joseph; and grandson: Spenser Hamilton Jones.
Ralph was the son of the late Ernest Lee Reep Sr. and Lettie Morrow Reep.
He was preceded in death by his 5 ½ month old daughter Pamela Lee Reep and brother Ernest Lee Reep Jr.
Graveside and committal service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, officiated by Reverend Michael Owens in the Singing Tower Garden at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 South New Hope Road, Gastonia.

Ralph was an encourager. He often had an uplifting remark to make to Paul and me about the sermon or my piano playing. It was a great joy being close friends with him and Nell. We love you, Nell, and will keep you in our prayers and thoughts.

My condolences to the reep family. Pop was a such a great and wonderful godly man. I am so grateful to have known him in this life and look forward in seeing him again in heaven. Love and prayers to Ralph's family.

As his first grandchild, we spent many fun times together. I've been fortunate to have him, along with the rest of my grandparents with me for all 31 years of my life. He hardly missed a ball game of mine, and always offered his advice and knowledge. He loved those Atlanta Braves and knew the team like the back of his hand. He's also one of the many influences of my love for sports. I remember he started to help teach me early to drive, I think as early as 5 years old?! Haha. I could go on and on with the stories of times we shared together. What meant the most is that he was still here last year to see me get married. He was a wonderful man and I will miss him terribly.

I didn't know Nell and Ralph very well except through mutual friends but every time I ran into Nell and Ralph it was like they both had known me for years. He was a special and sweet person. My thoughts and prays are with the family during this time. Our loss is Heavens gain....
