David Anguiano

Our son, father, grandfather, friend and teacher David Anguiano entered into the arms of God on July 17, 2011. Born in Mexico on January 3, 1939 to Julio Anguiano and Petronila Sanchez, he was raised in Los Angeles. David served proudly in the United States Air Force and worked tirelessly as a teacher serving at-risk youth in Watts, CA. David lived in California until 1978. David married Carol Ng on November 11, 1962 and into their union was born a son, Karl Anguiano, and a daughter, Angela Anguiano. David moved to Colorado Spring, CO in 1978 where he worked for many years as a caseworker for Pikes Peak Legal Services and, later, for Silver Key Senior Services where he served as a powerful advocate for over 10 years. David was a loving, caring man who was always looking out for those who needed help. He is survived by his son Karl Anguiano, daughter Angela Anguiano of California and daughter Chryses Menefee of Utah, 4 grandchildren Michael Sharpe, Steven Sharpe, Daniel Anguiano and Caroline Anguiano. A gathering for friends and family will be on Monday Aug 1, 2011 at 1517 W. Colorado Ave Colo. Spgs., CO at 5 pm.
