Diana Spillman Nickell

Diana Spillman Nickell, 62, of Colorado Springs, CO passed away July 8, 2013 in Colorado Springs. She was born October 11, 1950 in Kentfield, CA to William Earl and Mabel Marie (Gwinn) Hudnell. As a child she spent time in France and Germany before moving to California where she graduated from Oxnard High. She previously worked for 7-11, Sax Foods, Food Bonanza, Cub Foods, K-mart, Western Convenience and Shell. She loved the mountains, Elvis and spending time with her grandchildren. She was excited to learn of her impending great-grandmother-hood before her passing. She is survived by her daughters, Dawn (Nicholas) Keup, Deidre Spillman (Shawn McNabb), Robin (Robert Sr) Norris and son Christopher Sr (Brandi) Spillman; grandchildren, Brittany, Rachel, Jazmyn, Reanna, Kaitlyn, Gage, Robert Jr, Christopher Jr, Alivia, Jaden and Pyper; sisters Patricia O'singa of California, Rose Mary (Wayne) Dearinger of Florida; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, mother, step-father and brother. Memorial contributions may be sent to Pikes Peak Hospice Foundation. Cremation was chosen. Memorial service will be held Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 2p.m. at Alternative Funeral Services, 2385 N. Academy Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80917.
