Edward Eugene Daniels

Edward Eugene Daniels was a U.S. Naval Academy graduate who chose to serve in the U.S. Air Force. Following graduation he began his life with Bette Jo Radford and they raised three children. He was particularly proud of his service during the Cuban Missile Crisis, when duties as a Minuteman Atlas Launch Control Officer gained him a Presidential accommodation from J.F. Kennedy. Twenty-five years later he entered civilian life, pursuing his love of creating beautiful leaded glass, oil painting and needle point. He spent the remaining 32 years of his life with his partner Bob McClain. He is survived by partner Bob, son Mike, two daughters Susan and Wendy. Grandchildren James, Scott, Nolan and Kyle. Great-grandchildren Zachary and Zoe, and his brother Ernie. Following full military honors, cremains will be interred at the U.S.A.F Academy.
