Capt. George H. Froemke

Capt. George H. Froemke, US Army Retired, passed away April 4th 2014 at his home near Falcon, CO.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 52 years, Annelore.

He will be immensely missed by his two children, Barbara and Peter, his two grandsons, Hank and CD, his two great grandsons Devin and Joey, close family friends Nikki and Tensley, and his many other friends

Born in Chicago, a devout Lutheran, he served his country in World War II, Korea, three tours in Vietnam, and many other posts. George was a recipient of numerous military awards and continued his support with the Air Force Academy Blue and Silver Club.

He was one of the last and best of a generation of heroes. His nobility, stoicism and benevolence were ideals that many men should follow. He is a hero to so many.

Services will take place on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1:30pm at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B.
