Linda Lee Prosser-Livingston

Our cherished and beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Nana and Friend, Linda Lee Prosser-Livingston, left this earth and was folded into the arms of Almighty God on Friday, March 22, 2013. She passed into heaven peacefully from her home after courageously and successfully battling many physical challenges for many years. Linda was born on March 3, 1945, in Auburn, Indiana. She married Jack Prosser in Angola, in July, 1965. They had three terrific sons before moving to Colorado Springs in 1977. The family returned to Indiana where Jack died. Linda and her boys returned to Colorado Springs, where she fell in love with and married David Livingston in February, 1989. She took David's two children into her heart and her home as her own. She was such a special person to so many people who knew her, whether it was for a lifetime or a short time. She could make a friend during an elevator ride, in line at the grocery store, or passing on the beach. Linda's true joys were her family, her friends, children and spending time near water. She especially loved watching whales, an experience which never failed to bring tears to her eyes. Linda returned from her last trip to Hawaii where she saw whales just two weeks before her death. She was looking forward to cheering for her Indiana Hoosiers in the NCAA tournament and traveling to Florida in April to be near the water again. Children, whether her own, her grandchildren or the children of others, were a treasure to Linda. She embraced them with her loving, caring, and nurturing way, and enriched each of their lives. She cherished and adored her husband, children, friends and other family members. Each of them cherished and adored her as well. Linda is survived by David, her loving husband of twenty-four years, her mother, Norma Wisner, her four sons, Jason Prosser, Clint Prosser, Troy Prosser, Thomas Livingston, her daughter Angela Livingston, and her sister, Julie Adams. She is also survived by her six grandchildren, Jack Prosser, Cameron Prosser, Jaiden Prosser, Avery Prosser, Kera Prosser, Laura Lee Prosser, and Grayson Lee Prosser. Linda was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack, her father Jim, her sister, Lana, and her brother Steve. A service of remembrance will be held on Friday, March 29, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Broadmoor Community Church, located at 315 Lake Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80906. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation in her honor be made to the , the , the , or the Macular Degeneration Foundation.
