Merlin Joseph Poche

Merlin "Jack" Joseph Poche, 81, passed away on July 14, 2013. He was born on June 21st, 1932, to George and Josephine Poche in Ponchatoula, LA. Jack joined the Air Force in 1951. During his enlistment one of the countries he was stationed in was France, where he met his beloved wife, Yvette Boisraud. They married in Deols, France on October 8th, 1954. He retired from the US Air Force Academy in 1972, and remained in Colorado Springs. Jack then worked for School District 11 until he retired in 1994. After his retirement Jack worked part time for Budget Car Rental. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and their son, Michael Poche. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Yvette, his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Scott Connors, of Fountain, CO, and his daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Lillian and Liberty Ann Poche of Mena, AR. Jack will be cremated. There will be no services.
