Richard L. Plush

Richard L. Plush, 68, left this world peacefully to join his Heavenly Father on February 18, 2013. He was an employee of the City of Colorado Springs Utilities for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna, 2 sons Shawn Plush and Chris Woldruff and their wives, a daughter Toni Kesterson and daughter-in-law Debra Woldruff and 6 grandchildren. He is also survived by 3 brothers Glenn Jr., Tom Sr. and Phil and their wives, 2 brothers-in-law Norman Woldruff and Tom Woldruff and his wife, also Goldie Miller, John and Stacy Strobel, Rick and Mary Bauer and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Don and a sister Rita and a son Joseph. For 25 years Richard enjoyed growing giant pumpkins that he displayed in front of his home for all to enjoy. He especially enjoyed the trick or treaters that came by every year to see the artistically carved pumpkins. He was a lifetime member of Corpus Christi Church. He was a 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus, Colorado Chapter 04636. The services will be held Tuesday, February 26 at Corpus Christi Church. The rosary will begin at 9:30a.m., the Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00am. Graveside service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A reception will be held immediately after at the Corpus Christi Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Silver Key or Corpus Christi Food Pantry.
