Robert Philip Fineberg

Robert Philip Fineberg, 85, died peacefully on May 18, 2013. He is predeceased by his parents Meyer S. and Bertha Helper Fineberg, and his wife of 52 years, Rosalie Ann Sanders Fineberg. A U.S. Army and U.S. Navy veteran, he was a lifelong member and Commander of the Jewish War Veteran Post #45 in Hartford, CT and Post #343 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He graduated from UConn School of Pharmacy in 1951 and was past president of the Connecticut Pharmaceutical Association. He was an active member of Beth Hillel Synagogue in Bloomfield, Connecticut, Temple Shalom in Colorado Springs and Temple Beth Orr in Coral Springs, Florida as well as the AZO Pharmaceutical fraternity. He is survived by his children Gary Fineberg of Colorado Springs, Jeff and Abbe Fineberg of Coral Springs, Florida and Nancy and David Oxenhandler of Colorado Springs, grandchildren Daniel, Jenna and Melissa Oxenhandler and Noah and Becca Fineberg, his sister Leona Usher of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Funeral to be held on Tuesday, May 21, at 11:00 a.m. at Swan Law Funeral Home, 501 North Cascade. Interment to follow at Sons of Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Temple Shalom in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
