Yvette Germaine Lumsdon

Yvette was born and raised in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada. She became a telephone operator in Edmundston where she met and married her husband, Ralph Allen Lumsdon, stationed at Loring AFB, Maine. They settled in Colorado Springs in 1964. Yvette worked at Colorado College for over 30 years as a switchboard/telecommunications operator until her retirement in 2009. She enjoyed reading, playing and volunteering for bingo, playing cards with friends, trips to Cripple Creek and spending time with her family. Yvette is survived by four children, Linda Robinson, Kathleen Lumsdon, Paul Lumsdon and Arthur Lumsdon, five grandchildren, Norma, Natasha, Tabitha, Tristan and Cody and six great-grandchildren, Eric, McKala, Mindy, Carly, Chanel, and Lillian, and one great-great-grandchild, Alexandria. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be missed in all of our hearts and lives. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 2203 Warwick Lane, CSC 80909 from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
