C. LeForce Obituary

C.V. LeForce passed away in the early hours of Monday morning with his sweet dog and loyal companion Clark by his side. Ending an 84 yearlong campaign of optimism, humor, hard work and generosity; he leaves us for his bride of 61 years who he has longed for since her recent passing.

C.V. was born in Broken Bow, OK to Albert A. and Julia Ann Maxey LeForce, and graduated from Broken Bow High School in 1948. In 1976 he purchased the rights to the real estate franchise 'Realty World" and grew that into a fifteen state operation. C.V. was an admired teacher of business and sales. He was involved in many aspects of real estate and was named Colorado's "REALTOR of the YEAR" in 1980. C.V. served as Director of the National Association of REALTORS Political Action Committee for several years, and served as Chairman of the Political Action Committee. He also served as a Deacon in the Presbyterian Church and spent time volunteering at the Colorado State Prison as a teacher.

LeForce and Ed's wife Bonnie J. Willis LeForce of Idabel, OK and Bob LeForce and Bob's wife, Vida Lou Earnhart LeForce of Oroville, CA. Two sisters Martha LeForce Willis and her husband, Roy M. Willis of Eagletown, OK and Imogene LeForce of Idabel, OK. , brother-in-law, Dale Tipton of Catoosa, OK and three nieces.

CV and Joy were wonderful people and gave so much throughout their lives. CV was a mentor, someone that I didn't know well but got to know more after becoming involved with the REALTOR Associations. They would always try and travel back to the Springs and be here for the State CAR Conventions at the Broadmoor whenever they could. We will miss them and are grateful for their many years and contributions. All the best to the family from all of us here in Colorado, PPAR, CAR & NAR.

A definite loss to all that knew and dealt with him - he called me to buy me lunch (years ago)..his client built a home on my client's site-he used to own it and forgot he had sold it! He bought it back at the lunch!
