It's all too hard to imagine that someone with such a zest for life would be taken from us, but heaven's the better for it. I've always considered you second family, and Ken a surrogate Dad. When my father passed away, Ken personally called me, and through all the years since, I've never forgotten how it touched me. I would say he will be missed, but he already is.

Gloria and Family, I find myself in great disbelief and with great sorrow on the passing of your Husband,Father, and Grandfather.
The few years I have known Sonny will forever be in my heart. We had wonderful and great times in Mexico, Colorado and Arizona and of course Starbucks. Thanks so much to the Barfield Family for accepting me into your family. A Friend for life

I treasure the bond that was reunited between us over the past several years. Losing my only brother-in-law that has known me since I was eighteen is a real devastation. I shall remember all of the wonderful times that we have shared in the last few years and the kindness that he has shown. He has been so gracious and we have had such good laughs. Kings in the corner will never be played again without thinking of him, let alone a 7-blade roast, salmon quiche, etc. Loved hiking and walking with him. He was a wealth of information and to you Sonny, may you make sure everyone in heaven continues to see beautiful flowers that the deer haven't eaten. May God keep you safe and know we love you. God Bless your entire family because I know you will be missed.
