So many memories of this beautiful man . So many occasions in which I should have learned from him on how to remain calm in the storm. Met Norm in MA in '77 and was glad he joined us later on in Colorado Springs. The world was a better place with him in it. We all learned from him. Now he has joined Q-tip in the great beyond. May God bless him and the family in this new beginning.

Dear Kathy and daughters
I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Norm in the 80's and 90's. I enjoyed working on his genealogy with him. Norm was such a caring person. After I lost my job at DEC, Norm was instrumental in getting me a new job at DEC. Then he lost his job.

Dearest Fisette Family,
My deepest condolences to you on Norm's passing. Norm and I were colleagues and friends in the 80's at DEC/ESDP. Norm was the true definition of "kindness" and was one of the most gentle souls I have ever met in life. Not only was he a brilliant professional but he was a loving, sweet soul to everyone he met. It was my honor to know him and I just pray that there will be other "Norm Fissette"s" to meet. What a Joy he was to all and he will be remembered and missed. God Bless You all and May Eternal Light Shine upon you.
Sincerely,
Eva Martinez, DEC/ESDP

I'm so sorry to hear that Norm has passed. I worked with him in the 70's and 80's. He was always smiling and such a kind soul. I hope he and Huffie are sharing stories in heaven. My deepest condolences to his family.

Collecting antique bottles; ways to save money on prescription glasses; self-publishing; collector of DEC/ESDP photos and mementos; and purveyor of thoughtful gifts.
Indeed, Norm, was sort of like the Lego ("play well" in Danish) guy.
At one ESDP gathering, Norm gave me an antique bottle that had an etched rose; and at another a greedy-handrubbing Ghostbusters ghost toy upon which he tacked a sign "Bring me more Mappers" (a bulls-eye, inside joke).
Rest well, Norm, knowing that you spread smiles and laughs.

I am deeply saddened to hear of our loss of this sweet man. I worked as a co-manager with Norm for a number of years in Ed Services. He was kind and gentle to all. My thoughts are with all who are left behind. Those we love deeply we also grieve deeply. I am unable to attend the services but will be thinking of you all this coming Friday as you celebrate his life.

I transferred from MA to Colorado Springs, CO in 1979. That is when I met Norm. He was good folk and will be missed. The world is a better place because Norm cast his shadow upon this planet.
