Adrian Omar Moreno, age 31, passed away on April 28, 2013. He was born on September 26, 1981 to Carlos Moreno and Nellie (Ortiz) Moreno in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Adrian had passion for music and the arts, but most of all family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, traveling, entertaining and the activities in our beautiful Rocky Mountains. He was a member of Calvary Worship Center, attended Sierra High School and graduated in year 2000. He was recently working on his undergrad pre-med. He served in the US Air Force for over 2 years. He is survived by his loving son, Payton Jamal; mother, Nellie Moreno; father, Carlos Moreno; siblings: Dannette Carabajal, Carlos Ortiz, Melissa Grier, and Xiomara Moreno; 2 nephews; and 5 nieces. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80910. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials in Adrian's name may be made to the Memorial Fund at any Security Service Federal Credit Union.
