Mom was the glue that kept our family together. She showed us love in spite of our failings. Through her actions and many prayers, she nurtured us, inspired us, and molded us into who we are today. Her generosity was heartfelt. Ann had a big, big heart. Self-sacrificing, Anna, had a life of helping others. She helped travelers from the church just needing a place to stay for a few days, Anna's volunteer work spanned over 50 years until her move to be near family in 2007. The participant Anna, while in Colorado Springs, CO, was affiliated with, First United Methodist Church, Channel Choir, Berean Sunday School Class, Nightingale Circle of the United Methodist Women, Church Women United, Aiken Audubon Society, Alpha and Omega Retired Elementary Teachers Society, Red Cross Gray Lady Volunteer for Meals on Wheels and helped special needs children. The servant Anna, had participated in many Bible study groups and had completed "The Walk to Emmaus." She had served on many church committees and helped establish a church prayer group and the prayer room. The volunteer Anna, made her life full and rewarding at Ecumenical Social Services for many years and also had been a docent at the Garden of the Gods Visitor Center. She helped with many church projects such as delivering plants to visiting shut-ins, furnishing food for the Inter-Church Hospitality Network, planning chapel services for nursing homes, being a prayer-partner, teaching and substituting in Sunday School classes and was a past member of the TROAS Officers Wives Club. She is survived by sister, Helen Stoltenberg, Bloomington, MN. Children, Patricia Franck, Centerville, VA, Robert "Mike" Daniel, Sartell, MN, William "Bill" Daniel, Johns Creek, GA, Thomas E. Daniel, Redding, CA. Grandchildren, Anne Hill, Ednia, MN, Barbara McClintock, Houston, TX, Michael McClintock, Houston, TX, David Daniel, Sartell, MN, William Franck, Centerville, VA, Philip Daniel, San Francisco, Jane Donnan, Atlanta, GA, Thomas Daniel, Denver, CO, Angela Daniel, Denver, CO. Great-grandchildren: Madeline Hill, Ednia, MN, Maxwell Hill, Edina, MN. Many niece's & nephew's. A "Celebration of Life" to be held in Colorado Springs, CO at a later date. In lieu of flowers, Anna requested a donation to First United Methodist Church Missions, or Focus on the Family. Cremation, with interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver CO.
