Bernedine Toy was born March 13, 1918, she passed peacefully at home with her daughters, on September 18, 2013, at age 95.

She was born in Bernie, MO. to Albert H. and Rachel Kitchen. She had three (3) brothers and four (4) sisters. Bernedine and most of her extended family moved to Colorado Springs, CO in 1937.
Bernedine married Hiram Bloodworth and raised their four daughters, Darlene Ringler, Clarice Bloodworth, Jerry Winchell and Mary Ann Oates. Bernedine, married James D. Toy in 1962 and they were married 43 years.
Bernedine had 5 children, 6 grandchildren Rick, Guy, Lindy, Jandra, Lane, and Wayne, 19 great and 10 great-great grandchildren.
She worked in sales, at Surplus city for many years and was an Avon representative for 37 years. She enjoyed traveling, but loved to go to Las Vegas, and Cripple Creek.
Her parents, three brothers, a sister, son Hayden, two daughters Clarice, and Jerry, and her husband James, preceded her in death.
Survivors include daughters Darlene and Mary Ann, son-in-law Ralph Winchell, three sisters, sister-in-law, great and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many treasured friends, she will be missed.

Visitation will be at Memorial Gardens, Tuesday, September 24, 2013 from
5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Funeral service will be at Memorial Gardens, Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and a graveside service will follow.
