Christopher Kyle Malcolm died June 29th in Loveland. Chris was born at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs on September 1, 1981, and was a graduate of Woodland Park High School. He also attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins. Chris was preceded in death by his mother, Leota Carole Malcolm in 1998. He is survived by his father, Daniel Malcolm of Divide, brother Ian Malcolm of Bailey, brother Scott Malcolm of Divide, sister Brooke Malcolm of Bailey, two nieces, two nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Chris was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, hunting and snowboarding. He was also a skilled and gifted tradesman, specializing in hardwood flooring and other construction trades. He had a deeply compassionate nature, especially where children and animals were concerned. His family honored his wishes as an organ and tissue donor, and now Chris lives on through each of the recipients of his gifts. Although he is gone, he will never be forgotten in the fond memories of those who loved him.
