Constance Mae (McKay) Brown, 60, (of Canton). She has gone on her final journey and is now safe at home in Heaven. Constance fought a courageous battle of cancer and gave of herself to help and minister to others with cancer. She has touched the lives of many people through her teaching and those at the hospital in Zion, Ill. She was born on February 2, 1953 in Ellsworth, KS., the daughter of Rev. Robert Carlton and Anna Mae (Harvey) McKay. She was a Computer Instructor and taught at the Stark (Canton, Ohio) Community Foundation Building. A member of the Emmanuel Church in New Philadelphia, Oh. A graduate of the Peoples Bible College in Colorado Springs, Co. She is survived by her parents of Colorado Springs, Co., her husband, Stephen E. Brown whom she married on July 14, 1995, a brother Carlton (Marilyn) McKay of Colorado Springs, Co.; nephew, Norman (Christina) McKay (their children Jaden, Jax and Aliana), niece Karen McKay. Services will be held on Friday, 11 AM at the Emmanuel Church, 1434 S. Broadway, New Philadelphia, Oh. A time of visitation will be on Thursday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the church and one hour prior to the service on Friday. She will be buried on Saturday afternoon in the New Burlington Cemetery near Xenia, Ohio.
