David I. Kitsis, 85 (Colorado Springs, CO) died peacefully on November 11 at his home. David was born on November 5, 1927 in Medord, Massachusetts to Louis Jacob and Rose (Brodsky) Kitsis. He grew up in Medford. He was an athlete in high school, played football, and occasionally worked in his father's drug store. After high school, he joined the United Stated Coast Guard and was honorably discharged in 1948. David then attended University of Southern California to become a CPA and later an attorney. David married LaVerne Wilson from Arkansas in Los Angeles, CA. They moved to Colorado Springs in 2000. They were married for 45 years until her death in 2002. David was a passionate supporter of Israel and member of AIPAC. He had great love for his dog, Spencer, and enjoyed watching football, reading news articles, discussing politics, playing hearts, traveling, and was an awarded competitive dancer well into his later years. David was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and two brothers, Frank and Maury. He is survived by nieces Joan Kitsis, Alex (Kitsis) Quinn and nephews Rick, Michael, Mark and Keith Kitsis, and Michael Immerman.
