David Cherry of Colorado Springs, Colorado, born February 11, 1949, passed on August 22, 2014. David passed peacefully at his home with family and friends around him.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Colorado Springs Corvette Club. He is a Retired Army Vietnam Veteran who served his country proudly for over 20 years.

He is survived by two sons, Stephan (Kimberly) Cherry and William (Kristy) Teets; a daughter, Donna Cherry; a sister, Nancy Randles; four grandsons, Benjamin Towers, Kyle Towers, Noah Cherry and Ashton Cherry; three granddaughters, Becca Osterling, Ryleigh Teets and Reese Teets; a nephew, Curtis Randles; and a niece, Ashley Dickerhoof.

At David's request, donations in his name may be made to The David Cherry Memorial Fund, c/o Forbush Legal Office, 902 South Weber Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80903.

Graveside Service, 1:00PM, Wednesday, September 3, 2014, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area A, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado.
