Devin Paul Abeyta of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015 with family at his side. He was 23 years old.
Devin is survived by his 3 children: Alexander Abeyta, Andrew Abeyta, and Aiyanna Abeyta; his mother, Bonnie Abeyta; his father, Marvin (Tammy) Abeyta; his sisters: Krista Abeyta and Katrina Abeyta; his brothers: OJ Lucero, Eddie Abeyta, and Donevin Abeyta; his nieces: Kylie Jaramillo and Kiara Jaramillo; his grandparents: Mary Ellen Medina, Marilyn Abeyta, and Henry Abeyta; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Policarpio Medina; his nephew, Josiah Muro; and Baby Abeyta.
Devin was well-known for his goofy antics and many silly faces. Devin filled the hearts of many with love and laughter. His charm was irresistible as he always had a way of getting what he wanted. Devin is loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Devin was a proud father who loved his children dearly. He was adored by his children and nieces and always brought a smile to their faces.
A visitation will take place Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary immediately following at the Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO.
A celebration of Devin's life will take place Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. The services will take place at St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 5354 South Highway 85/87, Security, CO.
