Born June 11, 1924 in East Liverpool, Ohio and passed away November 5, 2013 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He is survived by his wife, Isabel Hopkins Laber and four children, Gary (Violet), Donna Korich (Rick), Ron (Robin) and Susan Laber. He is also survived by four Grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren.

He grew up in Mesa, Arizona and Sacramento, California. In 1941 he joined the Marines and served in the South Pacific for all of World War II. After the war he lived in California and Nevada and was President of the Nevada Auto Dealers Association. In the mid eighties he moved to Colorado and started his insurance career. He was especially interested in rescuing dogs and spent many happy hours with Kung Fu, Yum Yum, Jasmine, Gensing and Koko.
There will be a memorial service on Sunday, June 22nd at 2:00pm, at the Columbarium at the The Chapel of Our Savior in the Broadmoor area.
