Donna passed away at her home, surrounded by her loving family, after a short battle with aplastic anemia. Donna was born in Seymour, Missouri then moved with her family to Colorado at the age of 4. She married Max Klasna in 1953. They moved to Calhan, Colorado in 1973 to pursue a life of ranching. Donna is survived by her two sons, Bob (Teri) Klasna and Rich (Susan) Klasna of Calhan, Colorado; her daughter, Sandy (Drew) Balsick of Colorado Springs, Colorado; her sisters, Wanda (Reggie) Edwards of Fayetteville, North Carolina and Carlene (Doyle) Lankford of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and her special cousin, Rosemary Gross. Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband, Max; her parents, Carl and Pauline Murphy; her childhood guardians, Daddy John and Mother Nan Walden; and her uncle, Tom and Aunt Ruth Cardwell. Her Christian faith, her family, and her church were her loves. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Living Word Community Church, 532 Colorado Avenue, Calhan, Colorado 80808. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 22, 2013, at Living Word Community Church. Interment will follow at Calhan Cemetery.
