Elinor May Alexander, age 89, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1980 and previously of Fullerton, California, passed away on January 2, 2006 at her home in Colorado Springs. She had been the manager of the Pirate Ship Restaurant in Fantasyland at Disneyland for many years. Elinor was born on August 26, 1916 in New York, New York to Walter J. and Nellie T. (Larson) Clough. She married Edwin S. Alexander on January 13, 1934 in New York City. Edwin died October 20, 1995. Mrs. Alexander is survived by her loving daughter, Lynn D. Burdi of Colorado Springs; two grandsons: Michael (wife Jeanie) Burdi and Aldo (wife Mary) Burdi; granddaughter, Gina (husband William) McCready; and five great-grandchildren: Mariesa, Christopher, Zachery, Morgan, and Joshua. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2006 at Servants of the Holy Family Catholic Church, 8025 Maverick Road in Black Forest. A Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 6, 2006 at the Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
