Ellen M. Fuller, 82, passed away June 18, 2013. Ellen was a triplet born at home with her sister, Helen and her brother Allen, on April 25, 1931 in Sherburne, NY to Leslie and Mae (Byrom) Suits. She married Richard Fuller on August 21, 1954 in Syracuse, NY. Ellen was active in the Legion Post in Syracuse and was president of the Women's Auxiliary for several years. Ellen and Dick moved to Green Mountain Falls, CO in 1971 where she worked as a cook in many Ute Pass area restaurants, forging many friendships and where she became known for her biscuits and pies. Following the death of her husband in 1993, she became the owner of Door Check Sales and Service. She loved entertaining friends, playing cards, trips to Cripple Creek and driving her blue 1970 Dodge Coronet Super Bee. She was a long time member of the Southern Colorado Mopar Club. She was also a long time member of Church in the Wildwood where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Ellen is survived by her sisters, Doris Black and Helen Tengelsen, daughter, Marcia Day (Kevin) of Bayfield, CO, son Doug Fuller (Dana) of Green Mountain Falls and two grandchildren, Darren and Daniel Fuller. The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at Emeritus at Bear Creek and the staff of Evercare Hospice for their loving care they gave to Ellen. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Church in the Wildwood, 10585 Ute Pass Ave., Green Mountain Falls. A graveside service will follow at the Woodland Park Cemetery and then a celebration of life from 1-4 at the Crystola Roadhouse.
