Eris Mae Bickers, born April 24, 1923, went to be with the Lord on September 23rd.

Eris was the youngest of four daughters born to Albert and Elsie Carruth. Eris was born in Ft. Morgan, CO. She later moved to Pasadena, CA where she attended Pasadena Community College. It was in California that she met and married Horace A. Bickers. They moved to St. Louis while Horace attended Dental School. Eventually they moved back to Colorado where they raised their children. Eris worked for Sears for over 25 years. As a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Eris volunteered for many years with the ritual of friendship.

She was preceded in death by her husaband Horace, who passed away in 2000.

She is survived by four children; Carolyn Johnson(Mark), Ronald Bickers(Janis), Kathy Kyer(Fred) and Brenda Appel(Phil), 8 grandchildren; Melissa, Kevin, Amy, Stephanie, Jeremy, Jamie, Tiffany, Nate and 3 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, @ 10:30AM at the First Presbyterian Church, @219 E. Bijou. A reception will follow the services at the church.
