Howard Burt Obituary
Howard Burt, beloved husband and father, passed away at home, after a long struggle with Leukemia, on December 19, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Colorado Springs on November 14, 1947, to the late Henry and Blanch Burt.

Howard graduated from Palmer High, 1966 and Pikes Peak Community College in 1971. After graduation he worked for the city of Colorado Springs Housing Authority, Relocation Department and finished his career in Real Estate Services retiring after 30 years.

Family and friends were extremely important in his life and he enjoyed vacations, camping in Colorado, cruises to the Caribbean and Mexico, visiting family and friends in California, Washington and Alaska. He loved colorful flowers.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his devoted wife, Sharon, loving children Amber, Stacy Lynn, and Rebecca Rachelle Burt, all of Colorado Springs; siblings Bobby Burt, Centennial; Jene Demery, Colorado Springs; Karen Scott, Rye, Colorado; sister-in-law Candance Burt, Colorado Springs and many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by daughter Shannon Marie and brothers Ralph Burt and David Hughes.

A memorial service will take place on Thursday, January 9th at 12:00 p.m. at Rocky Mountain Calvary Chapel, 4285 North Academy Blvd., Colorado Springs 80918.
