Ingeborg Ballard, a resident of Colorado Springs for 38 years, passed away on February 3, 2014. She was a loving, devoted and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.|
Ingeborg was born on June 7, 1928 in Heidelberg, Germany to Hans and Maria (Goltz) Betzga. She married Delano "Pete" Ballard on June 7, 1957 in Mannheim, Germany.
She enjoyed volunteer work, traveling in the motor home, crafts, painting, and needlework. She was a member of the Austrian American Enzian Club.
Ingeborg was devoted to her family and friends, ensuring that she was always there for people she cared about. She was a loving person to be around and we will miss her dearly. We will cherish our sweet memories of this beautiful lady.
She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Liane Ballard; a granddaughter, Christine Baca; and her sister Annamaria Rothfuchs.
A visitation will be held at 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Private entombment will take place at Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Gate of Heaven.
