Jack Baird went to be with his Lord and Savior on October 30, 2012, at the age of 80. He was born in Omaha, Nebraska on October 12, 1932 to Ruth and Ken Baird. The family lived in Nebraska, Salt Lake City, Utah, Pendleton, Oregon and Seattle, Washington before moving to Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1945. Jack graduated from Colorado Springs High School in 1950 and Blair Business College in 1960. Jack married Isabelle Hasty on November 25, 1951 and together they shared 60 wonderful years. Jack served in the Korean War with the 24th Infantry Division. Jack later was in the paint industry for over 40 years in Colorado Springs, Western Kansas and the Kansas City area. Jack received the Lord as Savior in his teenage years. He attended both Southside Bible Chapel and at the time of his death he was a member of Northeast Bible Chapel. His wife, Isabelle, survives Jack as well as sons, Jim (Karen) of Colorado Springs, Mike (Caroline) of Virginia. Jack was a grandfather to four grandchildren: Sara (Andy) of Denver, Kaitlin (Ross) of Ramstein, Germany, and Connor and Kara of Virginia. He is also survived by his brother Tom (Myrna) of Iowa. Private Burial at Evergreen Cemetery.
