Jeff Gaskill, age 56, passed away on November 23, 2013. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 24 years and grew up in Holly, Colorado. Most recently Jeff worked as the Director of Compliance for Peak View Behavioral Health. In addition, he was dedicated to facilitating weekly counseling groups.|
Jeff was born on July 28th, 1957 to Robert and Edna (Southworth) Gaskill in Lamar, Colorado. On August 17th, 1979 he married Kelley Roloson in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Kelley Gaskill; and a daughter: Whitney Gaskill. He is also survived by a sister, Dawn Gaskill; and two brothers: Brad (Vicki) Gaskill, and Randy (Debbie) Gaskill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Eddie Gaskill.
Jeff was a member of the Fine Arts Center, U.C.C.S Theatre Works, and the Sierra Club. He enjoyed hiking and volunteered with the Friends of Ute Valley Park. He was an avid gardener, sports-fan, and loyal friend to many.
Jeff graduated from Holly High School in 1976 and the University of Northern Colorado in 1980. Later in life he went on to earn his Masters of Business Administration. He also held an endorsement in addiction counseling.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30th at The Fine Arts Center (30 West Dale St, Colorado Springs CO 80903.) The service will begin at 4:00pm with a reception to follow.
