Joann departed this life on July 1, 2013. She was born August 30, 1927 in Topeka, KS to Raymond and Velma Firestone. Joann graduated from Topeka High School in 1944 and married Jon D. Schuenight June 25th of the same year, in Carlsbad, NM. They lived in Topeka and Oklahoma City prior to settling in Colorado Springs in 1954. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, Pikes Peak Hospice, or a charity of the giver's choice.
