John Frank Gonzales Jr., 74, born April 7, 1938 in Pueblo, CO. to John Frank Gonzales Sr. father and mother Josephine Sandoval Gonzales. Survived by his wife of 49 yrs 384 days, Sharon. Children- Kelly (Sam) Quillin, Susan (Joe) Reynolds, Melody (Travis) Trujillo and Dawn Tomasello. Grandchildren- Susan, Patrick & Rebecca Quillin, Rachel & Michael Reynolds, Amber Pittman. Great Grandchildren- Maria & Jasmine Quillin. Sister- Dorothy (Joe) Meastas. Brother- Sam (Joann) Gonzales. Numerous nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and many friends. Preceded to heaven by parents and sisters Pauline Cordova & Shirley Tafoya. Owner of Fish Nook Aquarium and Bulls Eye Sharpening. John knew and loved the many phases of life. He started working at the age of 10 as a boat boy and always reached upwards, learning and experiencing opportunities his whole life. Stopping a minute to spend with you, sharing knowledge and wisdom and his love for Yahweh. John served his country as a military policeman in the U.S. Air Force and as an officer in the Independent Order of Foresters. President of IDMR. Remembered as "the fish man", "dog food man","scissor man" and respected as a man of his word. He will be sorely missed. Memorial Service 1:00 pm Sunday, January 27th, Mountain View Mortuary.
