Our beloved son, Lance E. Money, age 22, of Widefield, CO, passed away suddenly, early Saturday morning, 19 January 2013. Lance was born April 27, 1990 in Port Charlotte, Florida. At age 6 months the family moved to Colorado. He attended Widefield District 3 Schools starting at King Elementary, Janitell Junior High and Mesa Ridge High School from which he graduated in 2008. Lance was an extraordinary young man. He left a positive impact on everyone he met with his beautiful smile, positive outlook, most important, he accepted everyone for who they were. Lance loved his family, playing basketball, his dogs and his many friends. Lance is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Vince and Elinor Saracco and his parental grandfather, J.O. Money. He is survived by his grieving parents, Scott and Leann Money of Widefield; brothers, Scott Jr. (Annetta) and Christopher (Amy) of Indiana; grandmother, Ingrid Money of Florida; nephews, Cameron and Devin Money; niece, Alaina Money, all of Indiana; uncles, Dale Saracco and Sonny Alford of Beverly Hills, CA; Pete Wood (Lisa), Ray Saracco, John Money of Port Charlotte, Florida; cousin, Alexandra; aunt, Dawn Stoever of Florida; cousin Michael; aunt, Kara; cousin, Severin; cousins, Bradley and Cassandra Wood of Royal Palm Beach, Florida; close family friends, Randal and Laurene O'Neal, Alek Belter, Connie Whitmire, Rafaela and Natascha McCants, Wanda and Angel Abrams, Elsa McCants, the Tinkle family, and many other friends. Visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. January 23 at Dove-Witt Family Mortuary. Services will be held 10:00 a.m. January 24 at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 5354 S. U.S. 85/87. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Lance would probably want everyone not to cry for him, but remember him with a smile, treat others as you want to be treated and be happy.
