Mamie Lee Duffy, 82, retired civil service employee, went home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2013. She was born August 7, 1930 in Bradley, Arkansas to the union of Jimmy and Kate (Conway) Harris. Her parents, husband, Haywood James Duffy Jr., siblings: Ophia, Jimmy, Huey, Retha, Cautrie, all preceded her in death. She was united in holy matrimony to Haywood James Duffy Jr. August 5, 1958 in El Paso, Texas. Mamie enjoyed cooking for family and friends, traveling coast to coast singing her favorite hymns, and playing slot machines in Cripple Creek. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: James C. Ashe, Haywood James Duffy (III); sisters Betty Abileen, Mini, Joann, Ruby, Brothers Felix Jr., and Joe Jr; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of other relatives and loved ones. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday May 6, 2013 At Angelus Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive. Funeral Service 10:00 AM Tuesday May 7, 2013 At Angelus Funeral Directors, 1104 S.
