Marian Patrice Easton beloved mother, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on July 25, 2013 in Colorado Springs after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January 18, 1948 at Barksdale AFB, Shreveport, LA the second of four children born to the late George and Josephine (Maglich) Bruson. She was a 49 year resident of this city. As an Air Force brat and Army wife, she lived in Japan and Germany and nine states. Marian graduated from Mitchell High School in 1966. Her various occupations include: nine years at Hewlett Packard, snack bar operator at St Mary's HS in the 80's, coordinator of donation pick ups for the ARC in the 90's, care giver for Home Instead and later for her parents for several years. She was involved with Amway and a catalogue business. She enjoyed family get togethers and time with her grandkids and trips with friends to hot springs in CO. She made this past Easter dinner special using her mothers's special dishes and recipes. She was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church and greatly enjoyed Bible studies for many years. She is survived by loving sons Bill Easton and Dave Easton (Cathy) of Colorado Springs, grandchildren William, Christopher, Lilli and Logan Easton; siblings Jane Anderson, Michael Bruson (Daisy) and David Bruson and nephew Connor Bruson, (Alix), her HS friend Rosemary and her beloved cat Tux. Visitation will take place Tuesday, July 30th 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Swan-Law Funeral Directors, 501 N. Cascade Ave, Colorado Springs. A Funeral Mass will be July 31st 2013 at 10:00 am at Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 927 N. Logan Ave.
