Marjory Jean Watters of Colorado Springs, Colorado passed away February 19, 2013. She was born August 14, 1922, at St. Francis Hospital, as Marjory Jean Giesing to Jack and Helen Schauff-Giesing of Colorado Springs. Marjory grew up in Colorado Springs, and lived with her Grandparents. She attended/graduated school at St. Mary's Catholic School, and worked at El Paso Associates as an Assistant Personnel Manager. She also worked at Holy Trinity School as the School Secretary. She married Gene Dale Watters, also of Colorado Springs, on June 30, 1955. Marjory enjoyed being with her grandchildren, cooking, and collecting Precious Moments and bells. She also had enough food in her pantry to feed El Paso County for years!! She truly enjoyed her church activities at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed dinner and dancing at the VFW with Gene. Trips to California, Montana and Wyoming were part of their travel plans for many years. Marjory also enjoyed a long awaited trip to Hawaii with niece Bobby Ashlock. Marjory is preceded in death by Gene D Watters. Marjory is survived by her daughter Cathy, of Montana, son Mike (Deb) of Colorado Springs. Marjory has seven grandsons: Chris (Jenna), Greg, Michael (Jaime,) Tyler, Josh, Cody and Hunter; and one granddaughter Brandie (Rich.) She also has four great-grandsons: Tyson, Dante, Colten, and Haydn; and three great-granddaughters: Isabella, Faith, and Karleigh; two nieces, two nephews and their families.
