Marshall F. Junge, age 88, a resident of Colorado Springs since 1956, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at Medalion Skilled Nursing Facility. Marshall was born to Walter and Alma (Bogenhagen) Junge on October 16, 1924 in Big Springs, Nebraska, and raised in Julesburg, Colorado. He married Roberta Anne Johnson (Bobbie) on April 4, 1947. Marshall is survived by his wife, Bobbie, of 65 years; his son, Dennis (Jan); daughter, Marsha Whitted; daughter-in-law, Jan Junge; eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Brent Junge. Marshall was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He graduated from CSU in 1951. He worked for the Air Defense Command and retired in 1980. Marshall's passions included his love for the Lord, his family, and friends. He and his wife enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, dancing and decorating their home. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Medalion's Chapel, 1719 E.
