Nancy Oviatt Obituary
A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on, Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at the Boulder Valley Christian Church, 7100 S. Boulder Road, Boulder, CO.
Nancy was born August 4, 1948 to Max and Margaret (Miner) Oviatt in Huron, S.D. She graduated from Huron High School and graduated from Yankton College, Yankton S.D. earning her degree in Elementary Education.
She married Leslie E Goodman Jr. in Brookings, S.D., they later divorced. He preceded her in death in 2012
Nancy worked as a certified Addiction Counselor for Behavioral Health Management in Longmont, CO.
Nancy is being greatly missed by all who knew her loving spirit and generous nature.
Survivors: sons; Eli Justin and Joshua Ryan Goodman of Louisville, CO, grandchildren; Brycin, Kiara, and Jayshawn, step-father and mother Virgil. and Margaret M. Oviatt-Tucker of Boulder, CO. brothers; Thad M. (Barbara) Oviatt of Lafayette, CO, Dwight R. (Randi) Oviatt, of Whitewood, S.D., sister; Melissa A. Oviatt (Robert Gulley) of Boulder, CO.
Contributions; Oviatt Education Fund, 4774 Valhalla Dr. Boulder, CO 80301.
Arrangements are under the direction of M.P. Murphy & Associates.

Nancy was such a kind soul who always had something positive to say. Twyla and her were very close friends over many years and had many 'girl conversations' far over my head. It was a special bond reserved for special people. Nancy loved her kids & grandkids more than anything in the world - they brought her such joy & happiness. Just knowing Nancy made you a better person. We already miss her so much. God Bless.

This is VERY sad news!

Nancy was a co-worker at Digital Equipment Corporation, and a good friend. Times spent hiking the trails in Cheyenne Canyon will never be forgotten. Condolences to her family.

My condolences to all of Nancy's family and friends. She was such a beautiful, kind soul. Her faith was strong and evident to many; I know that she is now resting in the arms of Jesus. Heaven is richer with her passing. She will always be missed by her HHS '66 classmates. Peace!
