Natividad T. Flores 84, retired truck driver, and affectionatelly known by his family as Chico, went home to be with Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior, Sunday, July 14, 2013 with his loved ones at his side. He was born September 8, 1928 in Portland, Texas to the union of Felix and Aurelia (Trevino) Flores. His parents preceded him in death; as well as his first wife, Jesusa G. Flores; five children: Josie Flores, Josefa Flores, Roberto Flores and two infant twins; 6 sisters and 3 brothers. During his childhood growing up in Portland, Texas he served as a Alter Boy from the age of 8 to 15 years old in his church, Immaculate Concepcion Catholic Church, in Taft, Texas, along with his nephews, the Alvarado's. He leaves to cherish his memory his common law wife, Maria Moreno; his children: Maria Montoya (Ramon Torres), Viola Gobea Saenz (Jesus), Natividad G. Flores Jr. (Aide), Roberto G. Flores (Judy Martinez), Antonio Flores (Shelly); brothers, Amador Flores, Adan Flores; 15 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and loved ones. Visitation will be held from 4 - 7 pm on Thursday, July 18, 2013 followed with a Scripture Rosary at 7pm at Angelus Funeral Directors, 1104 S. Circle Drive. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am Friday, July 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 S. Corona St. Interment: Evergreen Cemetery.
