Dearest Linda, Carl and family. How sorry I am that we were out of town when Otto died. How I wish I could have talked with him one more time. He always made me laugh and made any situation better. Arguing with him was fun and challenging! How I loved listening to him recite from memory tales from Shakespere and Dickens and others and he said his Dad inspired him to learn and read and memorize. He was such a good person, a true gentleman, loving, intelligent, and always put others before himself. He cared for all people and animals. But you already know that. He left us with many stars in his crown. Jimmy and Sumatra loved each other and we had so much fun watching them play. His last words to me were "if I can ever do anything to help you and your family just let me know and I'll be there". I always knew he meant those words . Linda Otto, always in our many conversations spoke so lovingly of you. He thought you were the most wonderful, beautiful woman in the world, and that he was blessed that you were his Mom. I certainly agree with that sentiment. He will be missed so much but I know we will see him again in God's kingdom - for now I feel him watching us and telling us not to be sad - we have our memories and some day we will laugh again at something he said or did. I know he is at peace and in God's home as God prepared place for him, May God's Grace envelope you and yours both now and forever. Don't ever forget that Otto is with you, by your side and watching over you. Our love, Joyce and Don.

So sorry for your loss. Otto was my room-mate at the Bemidji Hockey Camp for two summers and we played on the same team for a couple of years, one that Carl coached. He was a great guy.
