Paul Eugene Aynes, "Pappy," 77, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away on May 12, 2013 at Life Care facility in Colorado Springs after an extended illness. He was born September 22, 1935 and raised in Anderson, Indiana. He was employed in Anderson for Thermogas, Inc. and worked for the United States Post Office in Anderson, IN and also in Colorado Springs, CO. He also served in the United States Air Force. Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne and several brothers. He is survived by two sons, Anthony Aynes (wife Reagan) and Christopher Aynes; grandson, Tyler and several other grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, William Aynes (wife Merna) from Ocala, Florida; and two sister-in-laws, Cindi Abshire (husband John) French Lick, Indiana and Becky Davis (husband Frank) in Edinburgh, Indiana. Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and brother-in-law. He will be greatly missed. A private memorial service for the immediate family will be observed. No calling or funeral service was planned.
