Feb. 27, 1920 - Mar. 23.2006. Martha Glynn Renicker, 86, passed away peacefully, March 23, 2006, at the Pikes Peak Care Center of Colorado Springs. Martha was born February 27, 1920, in New Albany, MS. She was graduated from New Albany High School in 1938 and attended business school in Austin, TX., for two years. Martha and Leon J. Renicker, Sr. were married, October 7, 1942, at Randolph Field, TX. After military service, they moved to Wichita, KS., where they resided until 1985. While living in Wichita, Martha worked for Drs. Adams, Newsom, and Morrow and retired from City of Wichita/Sedgwick County Health Department in 1980. Martha is survived by her husband of 63 years, Leon; sons: Leon (Jay) Renicker, Jr. and wife, Rebecca of Colorado Springs; John L. Renicker and wife, Jan of Arvada, CO; daughter, Julie Riffel and husband, John of De Soto, KS.; sister, Blanche Aldrich of Michigan City, MS; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, Monday, March 27, 2006 at the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel with a service to follow at 10:00 am. Private family burial will take place at Fort Logan National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be sent to the Pikes Peak Hospice, 825 E. Pikes Peak, Colorado. Springs, Co 80903
