August 6, 1948 - February 19, 2008. Bob Anderson, a longtime resident of Colorado went home to be with the Lord after a long and courageous battle with a liver disease. Bob's dedication to the Lord was made evident daily as shown by his love of life, his children, his horses and of Colorado. Bob was an Army veteran of the Vietnam era, where he served his country proudly. Bob enjoyed a career of driving big rigs across country as well as graduating from Boise State University as a respiratory therapist. Bob was also an avid automotive mechanic with a passion for building things that go fast and for going to the races with friends to watch others go fast. Bob was the eldest of three children born to Robert and Pearl Anderson in 1948 in Glendale CA, and is survived by his children Bob, Scott, Kelly, Michael and Eric. Bob's passing was preceded by his father Robert. He is also survived by his mother Pearl, sister Kristie Osterhoudt, and brother Marty. Bob also enjoyed the fellowship of countless aunts, uncles and cousins throughout southern Colorado and across the country. Funeral services will be 2:00pm, Saturday February 23rd at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive.
